Excerpt from David Nayan’s second novel, “The Space Between”:

Chapter I

It was cold and lonely on the window seat flying out of Zurich…

He could still feel the softness of her lips on his, the vulnerability in her eyes and how they melted his heart. He could hardly believe the days that had just passed… They had been moments stolen from time… from destiny… and as much as he wished that they would not end, she was still a goddess and he was still, in her eyes, the smallest of mortals…

There would no longer be questions of affection or chemistry, they fit together as naturally as the sun and moon in the sky… Everything that the heart wanted to know had been answered… Everything should be perfect now, resolved… but it wasn’t.
